Saab 900SE turbo drifting in snow
I wouldn’t consider this a “drift” video. Although some may call that “drifting ”, sliding on a snowy doesn’t take a whole a lot of skill to do. Where I live that is likely to happen during winter.
Drifting takes much more driving talent to do. It also requires a lot better of a car than a stock Saab. I think of a drift car as a fully built race car. They are built for doing high-speed long smooth drifts not sliding around a parking lot.
This video is really boring. If it was an actual drift car on a real drift track driven by a professional it would be more interesting. Drifting also isn’t cool unless you see tire smoke pouring from the rear of the car.
Drift racing should be fast and full of energy. There really isn’t anything interesting in the video. It just looks like a kid driving around a parking lot being stupid. The driver doesn’t really use any technique.
The snow pretty much does all the work for him. Fans of professional drift series like D1 and Formula D wouldn’t be interested in seeing anything like this video. Even rally or ice racing fans wouldn’t be interested in watching video like this.
